HISTORY

Hotel Helvetia is placed in Baia del Silenzio at Sestri Levante and it's managed by Famiglia Pernigotti.
Property was buyed in 1926 by Ing.Umberto Pernigotti, actually owner Lorenzo's father, and his future wife, Mrs. Anselmi. After one year for restructuring works , including one floor's rising, building became the new family's private home.
A land contiguos the property, at time vineyard cultivated, was buyed and was trasnformed in a terrace's mediterraneus garden, with Canarie palms, oleandri and pitosforo bushes.

In 1955, when Ing.Umberto died, his son Lorenzo and wife Lina transformed property in 32 rooms and 14 bath Hotel, that received hosts from all over Europe and ,as time goes on, Hotel was equipped with lift, a wonderful solarium terrace, rooms were reduced to 21, so that everyone was equipped with private bath. Rooms were moreover encreased in space and equipped with full modern comforts.
A little efficient private beach was annexed too...

In 2010 it's been completed an hydromassage pool with wonderful seaview on Baia del Silenzio.
